Help Provide Quality Services to Adults with Disabilities
Made in the Shade is PRI's annual walk, run, and roll around Minneapolis' beautiful Lake Calhoun. Partnership Resources hosts the event in cooperation with six similar agencies who provide services to people with disabilities. Each organization recruits their own participants and sponsors for the event. We hope you can join us as a participant on September 25th. If you can't make it to the lake on the day of the event, you can still help by making a donation on line. Made in the Shade is an important fundraising event for PRI and your support can help us maintain and expand opportunities for people with disabilities.
Some of the opportunities your donation will support include:
- Community based supported employment
- Access to community resources for education, recreation, therapy, and cultural enrichment
- Health and wellness programs
- Art instruction

Participate on September 25th
Register and collect pledges on-line
Register on-line at www.madeintheshade.org . Partnership Resources will be using GiveMN.org to handle on-line donations this year. Please check back for full instructions on how to use the GiveMN website to raise money for PRI.

If you prefer to download and print registration and pledge forms, those are available through the Made in the Shade website. From the homepage, click the Get Involved link to down load the forms
Participate in the 5K Fun Run
New this year at Made in the Shade is a 5K Fun Run. Runners may register through Active.com by following the link below. The entry fee for the Fun Run is $25 and includes a t-shirt and all the other activities on the day of the event. Runners may also choose to collect additional pledges either on-line or by downloading pledge forms.
Runner Check-in starts @ 9:30 a.m.
Run starts @ 10:00 a.m.
Make a donation on-line
Even if you can't make it out to the event on the 25th, you can help by making an on-line donation. If you know of someone who is participating in the walk, you can sponsor that person or you can make a donation to the overall Made in the Shade effort. Giving on-line is easy and secure. Follow the link below, to PRI's page on GiveMN.org. Once there, you can make a donation or you can check the fundraise section to specify a participant you would like to sponsor.
