Dear PRI Partners,

With this post, we want to give everyone an update on new guidance from DHS (Department of Human Services) about the further expansion of facility based in-person services for those who can safely return

Yesterday, DHS expanded in-person DTH (Day Training and Habilitation) services to include those individuals who live in group homes (or congregate settings). This adds to the guidelines issued in June which gave this access to individuals who live with their family or in their own home. PRI is still under service capacity restrictions at our sites, able to serve up to 50% of our licensed capacity, in groups of 10 individuals or less, for up to three hours per day.

While this news about expanded options is positivethe news was sudden and unexpected. At PRI, we are thoughtfully working through the logistics to expand these services while prioritizing the safety for all individuals and employeesTo prepare and plan for this expansion, we will be making calls to determine how many individuals would like to return in the near futurerevising schedules to accommodate increases in in-person services, balancing schedules to continue providing virtual services, realigning staffing, and arranging transportation options.

With many moving pieces, we will continue to update you and will work with individuals directly through their PRI contact regarding their own specific situation. As we continue to thoughtfully work through the details, we appreciate your continued patience and flexibility.

Please stay safe and well.
