What a year it has been!

Due to the generous support from the community, PRI enhanced its services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities this year. More individuals were supported in exploring their interests and goals, developing essential skills, discovering their voices, and making informed choices about community participation.

As 2024 comes to a close, we express our gratitude for every partner who supported our critical work to ensure individuals with disabilities can thrive in an inclusive community. Together with partners like you, we witnessed incredible impact moments including:

• Kamia and Marcia’s new-found confidence in printmaking thanks to a new partnership with Highpoint Center for printmaking that they proudly demonstrated at PRI’s first-ever Cheers to the Arts event

• Zach, Dupree, Alex, Chris S., Chris N., Geordy, Allison, Debbie, Kamia and Brad wrote, directed, starred in and professionally produced Boy Band in a Haunted Hotel, a new short film that will tour the film festival circuit in 2025
• Business partners, BWBR and Trader’s Joe’s Bloomington, were recognized as Outstanding Disability Employers by the Minnesota Organization for Habilitation and Rehabilitation for providing inclusive and supportive environments where Kat and Steve thrive in their work
• Krystyna and Justin, new to PRI’s Day Services, made strides toward independence and confidence by volunteering, choosing their favorite activities, and building community with new friends

Innovative, person-centered support for individuals with disabilities is increasingly essential, yet state reimbursements remain insufficient for providers like PRI. Contributions from donors like you help close funding gaps and support an inclusive community where individuals with disabilities can thrive. Your year-end gift has the power to create life-changing discoveries, empower personal choices, and open a world of opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
