Direct Support Professional

Vocational Specialist/Job Coach – Virtual (new position!)

Full-time

We currently have an opening for a Vocational Specialist (Job Coach) position supporting Virtual Employment Services as well as providing in-person job coaching. This position is a combination in-person and virtual work.

  • Virtual: This position will develop and implement lessons focused on employment development and career explorationThis is a unique service for individuals who are exploring their job strengths and creating plans for future employment. Online classes are held in a group setting and on an individual basis 
  • In-person: In-person employment services provide support to people actively working in the community to maintain longterm job retention and success. This person will also coordinate volunteer opportunities to enhance client’s work skills and build work experience 

The position is full-time Monday through Friday, an 8-hour shift between 7 AM – 5 PM (exact times somewhat flexible). Virtual work may be completed remotely, or at one of our agency sites. All technology and PPE provided.

Competitive salary ($13.25-$14.25/hour depending on experience) and full benefits are included. Experience working with people with disabilities preferred. Experience in coaching/tutoring, teaching/education, retail, customer service, and/or food services is a plus. Basic technology skills required. Must be able to pass a background check with the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

Direct Support Professional

Program Assistant

Part-time

We currently have an opening for a Program Assistant position in our day program settings. In this position, the Program Assistant responsibilities include supporting community and leisure opportunities while providing direct care to adults with developmental disabilities.

The position is part-time (35 hours per week), Monday through Friday with day-time hours from 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM.

Competitive salary of $13.25 per hour and benefits are included with the position. Some experience in human services field is preferred. Basic technology skills preferred or a willingness to learn. Must be able to pass a background check with the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
