Danielle Alexander

Danielle Alexander creates galaxies of paint. Butterflies, flowers, hearts, and crowns are arranged with careful spacing and order across the canvas, often in a universe of swirling dots. Her subjects are painted with bright colors that pop from dark backgrounds, and her favorite combination of pink and green is found in almost every piece. Repetition is one of the defining features of Danielle’s art, and the pieces included here show both the cohesion and the expansion of her body of work since she began painting watercolor galaxies ten years ago.
