During these unusual circumstances, the health and safety of the people we serve and our employees is our top priority. Preventing the spread of COVID-19 in our local communities is vital. Therefore, we have made the difficult decision to begin to temporarily suspend services at PRI sites.

These initial closures will take effect at the close of business today/Tuesday, March 17th, 2020. We will be closing our agency-based sites beginning the morning on Wednesday, March 18. This includes our Minneapolis, Golden Valley, and both St. Louis Park locations. We hope to reopen in the near future but during these rapidly changing times this will be evaluated day by day. All homes are being contacted today by phone.

Some of the PRI employment sites may remain open but will vary by site based on business need, client safety, and client choice. We will reach out to these clients and guardians to confirm plans around working. Where needed, PRI job coaches will continue support people at those sites that remain open. Clients will continue to use their regular mode of transportation unless notified otherwise.

We are also contacting homes today to find out if there are any clients who absolutely do not have adequate support options during the day outside of PRI. If you have concerns about safety during the day and may need additional support, please call or email Kalina Spielbauer (kspielbauer@partnershipresources.org or 612-259-2268). We will work with teams to determine the options for these individuals to ensure the safety of all individuals served.

PRI has not been notified of any diagnosed cases of exposure to COVID-19. However, anyone who is at higher risk based on guidance from the CDC or is experiencing symptoms should stay home even if their site is open. We respect an individual’s choice to stay home even if their site is open.

The health and safety of our clients and employees remains our priority during these unusual times. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide communication. Our website is the best means to access the most up to date information.

Please reach out to your PRI contact if you have any questions. We realize this is a difficult time for everyone and this temporary closure will be difficult. Thank you for your understanding and support during this time.
